This is my review on the Jesse’s Girl Back Stage Collection. I found this a Rite Aid for $6.99. I felt this palette had a very pretty spring color selection. If you look at the swatches of the mattes on the right hand side, the base, crease, and darkening shades are beautiful. The shade next to the white doesn’t show up on my skin color, but it is a great shadow, good quality, blends well and is for me, the perfect shade to set my eyeshadow primer with. The top row was very creamy and pigmented.
These shadows applied just as good on the eyes. The colors in this palette blend very well together, and you have all you need to create so many looks. I have never tried this brand before. I was very impressed with how well these shadows worked on my eyes. I felt like I was working with some high quality shadows for only $6.99.
There was some kickback in the pan and a small amount of fallout, but overall, I would say the color payoff and blendability of these shadows was great.
And this is why I do this. Overall when I purchase makeup at the drugstore and it doesn’t work…… that to me is a huge waste of money. I will pay for high end dependable makeup….. But this shadow is a big thumbs up for me. I search the drugstore trying to find great products so I can tell you all about it and you don’t waste your money.
I have not recommended many, if any drugstore eye shadows. I do recommend giving this one a try for only $6.99. If you try it, let me know what you think!!
I was so excited by this shadow, and a few other products from this line that look promising, that I ordered more from them. I will let you guys know if this is just a good palette….. or if their line is consistent.
You could find this product at Jesse’s Girl website by clicking the link at the top of the page, or, you can find it by clicking here to find it on Amazon. Let me know if you have tried anything form this brand.
What drugstore brands do you think are the most consistent with the quality of their products??
