I purchased the Becca Liptuitive Glow Gloss at Sephora for $25. Once again the purple and pink sparkles drew me right in and I couldn’t resist. I will tell you what the product claims followed by my opinion on if it holds true. I’ll also tell you if I think it’s worth the money.
Product Claims: This is a gloss that reacts to your chemistry that creates your perfect pink shade. It has microfine pearls to leave your lips with a “kiss of light.” It has avocado oil, vitamin E and shea butter for moisture. It can turn any color from rosebud pink to a muted plum. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
My Opinion: This gloss does react to chemistry or something. It turned a soft pink on me and was a muted plum on my daughter. My lips looked like a kiss of light, lol. They were shiny in a very pretty way. I like the ingredients. I also like that it is free of paraens, sulfates, and phthalates. The formula didn’t feel like a typical gloss. It felt more like a cross between a gloss and an oil. It was different, but nice, and I felt it was moisturizing. I think that the product itself is eye catching. I really like this product, but again, I am a huge sucker for pink, purple, sparkles and gloss.
Is it worth $25: Read this part through to the end so you can fully understand my view. I am a makeup addict. Is this worth $25? It’s a gloss, so no. If you don’t have the money, do not spend it. If you can afford the splurge, it is a cool product and an enjoyable comfortable gloss. If you can afford to treat yourself, check this product out. You can definitely live without it, however, I am enjoying it.
